The sales automation system of Miele & Cie makes it easy to gather information on potential customers, monitor projects and develop tailor-made offers. The TJ Group CRM Solution was customized to meet the specific needs of Miele.
The domestic appliance manufacturer Miele & Cie is based in Germany, and employs around 15,000 employees worldwide. The family-run company manufactures washing machines, dryers and vacuum cleaners. The starting point for the project at Miele was the sales department's need to back the complexity of projects.

In the course of the Miele-specific customization, two main areas of the TJ Group CRM Solution were extended: client information and offer generator.
After the pilot phase was finished, the official introduction of the German system started between January and August 1999. Approximately 80 employees, 50 from sales and 30 from internal operations piloted the system. |  |
A two-day training seminar was considered sufficient because the empoyees already had a basic knowledge of Lotus Notes.
Since the project implementation, 2,000 offers have been created with the TJ Group CRM Solution.
After the successful implementation in Germany, the users enjoyed a period of use of the product while an international roll-out proceeded.
New requirements and improvements are being considered as part of an on-going enhancement program.
Miele is implementing TJ Group CRM Solution in other parts of the company as well. |
